We've learned that stand alone sustainable tourism projects have a much higher probability of success if we integrate with value added activites like organic farming and sustainable forestry. Analizing value chains and identifying efficiencies can have siginficant benefits to micro & small enterprises for tourism related industries in remote areas. By expanding from sustainable tourism platforms to resilient communities concept we also see much more diverse employment opportunity.
